Please provide an essay describing how you as a health care provider or educator have ties to the community, have an understanding of why the patient population is underserved, will address access to health care issues, and how your experiences will change health care outcomes of the patient population you or your students will be serving. Per state preference is given to those applicants who can demonstrate cultural competencies.

Note: All applicants have similar education backgrounds; describe what makes you uniquely qualified for this program.

Your essay must not exceed two pages, can be single space, in font size 11 or 12.
