After reviewing your introduction essay, you must:
1. Copy and paste your introduction essay into a new Microsoft Word document; you will type your new response in this document
2. Highlight any issues you mentioned that we discussed during the semester and discuss
whether your opinion on them has remained the same or changed using the comment function
on Microsoft Word (directions for doing so if you’re unfamiliarLinks to an external site.).
3. Discuss which issues we covered in class that you did NOT mention in your introduction
essay but now believe are critical issues facing the policing profession. In other words, what
did you learn in this class? (Write your response in the same Word document below your
introduction essay.)
Guidelines
1. Your submission (i.e., what you write for number 3 above) should be 1 to 2 pages in length, and
you should be able to provide at least 3 to 5 comments using the comment function.
2. There are no “right” or “wrong” answers, but keep in mind that your grade will be effort-based.
There were many topics we covered in class, and I want to see you discussing those in your
response.
