You have been asked to serve as a technology consultant to the state Department of Corrections. The department is interested in “joining the 21st century” by using social media in various ways to include improving their “image” and recruiting new personnel. Propose two ways in which social networking sites (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, and others) might be used by the department to meet its goals. Do you foresee any issues or problems with using social media sites?
