Civility
is important in electronic communications. Cyber incivility is the
violation of respect and consideration in an online environment based on
workplace norms. Active incivility involves direct forms of disrespect
(i.e., being condescending, demeaning, and saying something hurtful).
Passive incivility involves indirect forms of disrespect (i.e., using
emails for time-sensitive messages, not acknowledging receipt of emails,
not replying to emails).

Suppose
you are facing cyber incivility both active as well as passive from
your boss. Discuss how you will deal with both types of cyber
incivility.
