Using the gestalt principles of closure, continuation, figure/ground, proximity and similarity transform your found imagery into finished modular designs. Use one image or several images in your final compositions, if you wish. Be sure that the image is clear, showing detail and good contrast.

Using Photoshop, create five (5) different designs, one for every principle listed. In translating the photo collages into their final form, we will use the marquee tool to make square selections. Each module will be a section of a photo you choose to build your final image collage, representing your interpretation of each principle.
Select and arrange each two (2″) inch square module in a Photoshop document measuring 6” by 8.” Use imagery that is sharp and clear. Your interpretations should show IMAGINATION & EXPERIMENTATION!
