This assignment focuses on the application of Roberts’ seven stages Crisis Intervention model to a client situation (250 words).
Review the video clip: Robert’s 7 Stage Crisis Intervention: Role Play from the learning materials.
Analyze the case example in the video clip applying Roberts’ seven stages. For each stage:
Identify the stage.
Describe what this stage involves according to the model.
Discuss which intervention in the video clip illustrates the stage that you identified and describes. Be very specific such that the reader can understand clearly which of the practitioner’s interventions demonstrates the relevant stage and how so. For example, you may state that the practitioner saying XYZ is an illustration of the stage.
Justify your answer; i.e. provide a rationale/ a reason why you believe that the specific intervention in the video clip illustrates the specific stage in the model that you identified.
