Students are expected to post Original Discussion Postings, which are your responses to the topic below (15 points each). Your original postings should be a minimum of 250 words in length each. Each post must demonstrate that you have fully thought about the topic. Study your PP and textbook to assist with your posts. No grammar or spelling errors! I do not accept late submissions.
THE RUBRIC (-3 automatic for not bolding)
15 Points – very good post: The posting was made on time; the criteria were met and, in some cases, exceeded. The posting is well written and free of grammatical and spelling errors. 15 or more med terms.
9-14 Points – good: The posting was made on time; the basic criteria were met. More development would be preferred and some points may have been missed. Some med terms – less than 15
4-8 Points – needs improvement: The posting was made on time; only some of the criteria were met. Several points were missed or the information was incorrect. The post was less that the minimum length. It contains several errors. Few med terms used (8 or less)
1-3 Points – marginal: The posting was made on time; few or none of the criteria were met. 3 or less med terms used
0 Points – inadequate: The posting was not done, late or too poor for credit; little if any thought is presented. No med terms used.

Discussion topic Week 3:
Research a nervous system disorder.  Pretend you are a medical student helping a patient with this disorder.  What do the terms mean?  What part of the nervous system is involved?  What clinical signs might you observe in the room (or at the ranch or in the wild)?  What procedures might you perform?  What pathology might you find?
