The details of the incident are as follows:
Incident
A store manager, Brad Davis, contacted you in your office to tell you about two suspicious males, one black and one white, who entered the store and were in the electronics section. You are a Loss Prevention Specialist at the ABC Department Stores. Your I.D. number is 315, your store number is 185, and the case number for this incident is 1542. The store is located at 602 Main Street, Los Angeles, CA 90003. The city police arrived at 8:50 p.m., and Officer Mendez took a report from you. He also viewed the video evidence, of which he later took a copy. The time you started your observation with the CCTV in your office was 8:15 p.m. The suspects fled westbound from your store, running down Miller Street before they turned north onto another street, Jameson Ave. Then you lost sight of them. You did not pursue them because store policies do not allow it, which is a policy designed for your safety. The desсrіption of Suspect #2 is of a white male, 6’0”, 200 lbs. He wore a blue Cubs hat, a green jacket, brown cargo pants, and brown boots. During your surveillance, you witnessed the two suspects putting music CDs and DVD movies inside their coats. You believe they may have had some type of bag to put them in, since they were taking so many. The time of your stop was 8:35 p.m. Use today’s date as the event date. The time of the initial incident, when they were taking the DVDs and CDs, was approximately 8:22 p.m. The desсrіption of Suspect #1 is of a black male, approximately 5’8”, 180 pounds, wearing a black ball cap with no lettering, a dark blue or black coat, blue jeans, and black boots. After viewing the CCTV video you determine that they took 22 CDs and 35 DVDs. You cannot tell what titles were taken. The estimated value of stolen merchandise is $789.00 (22 CDs at $12ea, and 35 DVDs at $15ea).
