OBJECTIVES: 1- To learn the various architectural tags used within construction drawings – what they represent and where they are used. / 2- Use CAD attributes to develop standardized symbols, many of which will be used in Exercise 5 & Assignment 2.
DIRECTIONS: Create a wblock for each architectural tag. Save them in a subfolder named Wblock. Each tag should be named as illustrated in the sample file. Create the Exercise 4 drawing and insert each of the wblocks at 1/4″ scale onto layer A-Note, color 3. Input realistic tag values. (For example, a ceiling height would be 8′-0″, a wall type could be a number, a window value could be letter A, door and note tags a single or double-digit number, etc.)
