Define each of the following 5 terms or phrases as completely as you can (should be at least a paragraph). This definition should specifically relate to the chapter’s contents as found in the textbook and the PowerPoint. For example, explain the significance of a place like Constantinople or of people like the evangelists within the historical context of the particular chapter–not at other points earlier or later in history when they might be relevant as well. Then select an image of a work of art (no maps or other graphics or illustrations not from the period) from the Early Christian chapter of the textbook or PowerPoint that you believe can be used to explain the term and its relationship to the social, political, or artistic life of the period. Explain the reasons that you selected the image and fully describe how it relates to the term (should be at least another paragraph). Be as thorough as you can in your answer. You should have two paragraphs for each term and the two paragraphs together should be at least 300 words. You must cite the PowerPoint at least twice for each term.
