Title of Work : Materials/Objects Used PART 2 – Art Appropriation Bilbao and Levine are two artists that used appropriation in their work, they each created their own versions of Duchamp’s Fountain . Like Bilbao, Levine, and artists who appropriate, create your own example of art appropriation. Choose a famous work and cr eate your own version of it. Demonstrate the artistic concept of appropriation . For example, if you choose Maurizio Cattelan’s Comedian, you can duct tape a banana onto a surface. Or, like Edvard Munch’s The Scream or Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa , take a selfie posing like one of these famous figures.
