Must Include:
• A working title
• A statement of the topic of the thesis in terms of a question to be asked, a problem to be explored, or a hypothesis to be tested
• How do you plan to break it into sections, and what are the sections?
• The scope of the study, the methods or approaches to be used, and the materials or data to be used in research
• A statement, however provisional, of the importance of the topic. What will this thesis accomplish and why does it matter?
• A preliminary bibliography.
The prospectus should be at least five pages (one page per bullet-point above) long (double-spaced).
