Classroom management theories are formulated to explain, predict, and understand phenomena and, in many cases, to challenge and extend existing knowledge within the limits of critical bounding assumptions. Throughout this course, you will be reading about several different classroom management theories, each with a theoretical framework structured to hold or support each theorist’s Model of Classroom Management.

As you read the assigned chapters for Module 3-7, you will complete the attached Theorist Table filling in the information about the classroom management theorists addressed in your readings. The Theorist Table will be cumulative as you complete the readings for each module throughout this course.
