Briefly describe how you have demonstrated the following:
1. Leadership
2. Service
3. Legacy
My background:
1. I do alot of volunteer work in the community.
2. I was the Lead Dental Instructor for 4 years at a Dental Assistant School. I trained and mentored the instructors. Many of my students was setup for success. They have now continued their education and they are in Dental School to be dentist and Dental Hygienst.
3. I was the Peer Leade and Virtual Intership moderator during my undergradaute studies.
4. I am the pioneer in my family that has broken many generationl barriers and I look forward to do that. Being that I am the pioneer the journey can get lonely and hard because you don’t have anyone to relate to you or you don’t have a mentor to look up to and show you the way.
5. I was teen mom who had my daughter in high school.
6. My mom and father was teen parents so they never graduated high school.
7. I was the first to graudate High School, undergraduate, and the first to enroll into Doctorate Program. and graduate college in my family.
8. Due to me completing my studies and never giving up, my daughter has graduated high school and she will be starting her studies with no children.
9. My mother returned back to school and passed the High School Equivalency Test (HiSET), and graduated in December 2022. with a High School Equivalency (HSE) Diplpma. Now, she is looking into enrolling into a community college.
