Read the following Case Study: Getting Acquainted.
Once you have read the Case Study, start a new thread and write an original post addressing the following questions:
1. Describe at least two examples from the case study in which Mrs. Sims is using reinforcement in the classroom. For each example, explain whether her reinforcement techniques are effective in modifying student behavior, as well as identify if she is using positive or negative reinforcement.
2. Based on Bandura’s Social Cognitive Theory, describe one example in which vicarious reinforcement or vicarious punishment might be playing a role in this case study, and identify whether vicarious reinforcement or punishment is at play.
3. Do you see any potential issues in the way Mrs. Sims has students tutoring or assisting with teaching in class? If so, what are those potential issues?
