Assignment # 1: Ethical Competence and Interviewing Paper(30% of final grade)
In a 5-7 page paper discuss the five key areas in Ethical Competencies and interviewing as described in Evans et al.
Compare and contrast the Ethical Competencies with the National Association of Social Workers’ Code of Ethics and one other professional organization’s code of ethics (Hepworth el al.).
Then conduct an interview with a family member, a friend, a classmate, self-interview, or someone with whom you are comfortable and someone who is comfortable with you. The person whom you interview will not be named in your paper; unless that person gives you express permission (YOU WILL MAKE THE NAME UP).
Identify in your paper with examples how you used a minimum of five of the ethical competencies and the code of ethics.
Format your paper using APA standard 7th edition. The number of pages does not include the title and reference pages. A list of professional organizations is posted in the syllabus.
The entire interview will be completely made up by you. Write about something you’re comfortable with!
