This assignment will use Excel to create formulas. If you need help with Excel, I suggest going to YouTube and putting in Excel. There are thousands! I found this oneLinks to an external site. to be pretty good for very basic Excel use. I would also encourage you to just play with Excel. The one feature you should become familiar with in case you really mess up is the undo, using Ctrl-z will undo what you just did and will usually “fix” what was just messed up.
Using the college enrollment table from the previous assignment (Assignment 7, Table 270), you will calculate ratios and percentages. Read the assignment carefully. To copy formulas to adjacent cells, click on the cell where you created the formula, then move your cursor to the lower right corner, which should change the fat cross to a skinny cross. Drag the skinny cross over the cells you want to copy the formula to (you will see a fuzzy outline as the formula is copied to the cell(s)).
