I. CARVENIENT AUTO SPA
A. CARvenient Auto Spa offers full-service car washes and detail services. They are open
Monday -Friday from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
B. CARvenient strives to help people stay comfortable in their cars. They want their
customers to feel like their best selves every time they get in their vehicles.
II. PLAN FOR THE BUSINESS TO MAKE MONEY
A. CARvenient targets high-end clientele who regularly wash and detail their vehicles.
B. Every time a customer purchases their 10 th car wash, they receive their 11 th free.
C. CARvenient also plans to introduce valet service where cars are picked for washing
services and delivered back to their owners.
III. COST PROJECTION
A. CARvenient mainly employs college students and pays just over minimum wage. Starting
wages are $13.50 per hour. They employ 10 part-time employees and 2 full-time
managers. The total payroll is around $12000 per month.
B. The business has several overhead costs including renting their building, utilities to keep
everything working, products to wash and detail the vehicles, and equipment
maintenance. This totals around $6000 per month.
IV. ISSUE NEEDING TO BE RESOLVED
A. CARvenient is starting to lose business to the car wash down the road because they are
open outside of regular business hours. They don’t want to extend their hours each day
because then they would need multiple shifts and payroll costs would increase.
B. Customers love CARvenient but have trouble getting their cars in because they are only
open during regular business hours. Valet service would greatly help this issue.

V. MIS System to create (subscription app)
A. We will use MIS to help with the daily operations of the business and to store
information for customers and suppliers. We would also use MIS to keep track of the
inventory that we purchase, and sell.
B. Using MIS will allow the car wash to monitor and track sales, and subscription
memberships, and collect payments and automatic payments from members and non-
member customers. There will also be an App; customers can use this app for their
booking and car care convenience.
C. MIS is going to help owners, managers, and employees to stay organised and help with
the operational success of the business. It is going to foster healthy customer relations.
D. MIS will also provide owners with operational data to understand what aspects of the
business are doing well and if the business is making a profit or operating at a loss.
VI. Implementation
A. The idea is to start a car wash business. This business will however have a cutting edge
because it will be simplified, personalized, and amplified by the use of customized
software for its operation.
B. Necessary equipment and infrastructure will be purchased and leased, and the location
prepared for operation. We will hire professional installers to install the car washing
equipment and mechanics needed to provide the car washing service and all software
that comes with their operations.
C. We will also have our App, which will require external hosting and development. When
the setup is done, employees will be brought in and trained on the equipment’s

operations and software applications. They will also go through communication skills
training which will help identify and delegate leaders among them after which they will
be trained on how to use the system.
D. We plan on funding the project using our own saving and a loan from the bank.
VII. The future
A. The expected results of operating within these systems are; a rising number of customers,
a clean-slate reputation of unique delivery.
B. A relationship between the business and the customers, increased referrals, increased
communication with clients where they tell us what problems they need us to solve for
them in our capacity, smooth operations and more satisfied employees and customers,
and in the long run be able to grow and have more locations.
