This is an opportunity to use some creative thinking and build your own scenario.

Create a fictional portfolio that a teacher could use within the early childhood classroom using
the attached Template.
On the first few pages of the portfolio, you will document your plans for how you might assess
each area of learning and development and then include images that document the individual student’s progress with the
assessment method you have chosen.
n the final section of the portfolio, you will document a specific student’s progress (the fictional student you are building this
portfolio for) through anecdotal notes. You will find additional instructions and specifics within the template.
This project is entirely hypothetical, so you will not actually need to do any classroom observation
work. This is an opportunity to use some creative thinking and build your own scenario.
