The purpose of the project is to identify and train individuals who may be seen as having influence with their peers.

For this “Exam” you will create a Men’s Project. The goal of the Men’s Project is to train students who identify as men to positively influence their peers by challenging social norms that promote gender-based violence; understanding their connection to survivors of gender-based violence; and role modeling effective bystander interventions. As you create your project you should also focus on topics related to gender socialization, masculinities, social justice and gender-based violence.

As you create project, be sure to think about things like diverse group of participants with unique experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds. Remember the Ideal candidates are students who relate well to others who identify as men; who are sensitive to issues of gender-based violence; and are open to collective and collaborative learning.
Your project can be produced in a 4-6 page APA paper, or 8-12 slides (minimum) also done in APA format. Be sure to use 3-4 scholarly resources, in-text citations and references.
