THE DATA MUST BE ANALYSED WITH QUINTIC THEN INTO EXCEL
2) If you have not processed your data (turned it from Quintic video to Excel outputs) use my support in this lecture session and the following recordings:
3) Next, analyse the Excel outputs to get your results (the discrete variables e.g. Peak knee flexion). Refer back to week 9 lecture data analysis and you can use my recording on how to analyse the Quintic outputs (that covers much of the week 9 content) to help analyse your data to get your results for the choosen variables.
If there are any variables that you are not sure how to calculate but would like to include, please do let me know and we can work on these in the lecture (e.g. trunk lean data processing & analysis).
4) Now you should find the mean and SD values to allow you to compare your two conditions or movements. Here is an example of how to calculate mean and SD.
5) Once you have the data as mean and SD (and CV% if you would like it), then it is time to present your results section and write the results narrative. The principles are all the same as when you presented results for the formative assessment (this is why we did a practice), so the recording from Week 4 should be referred to for advice – example results sections. This recording with kinematic study results examples may also be useful for further tips and examples.
Data Interpretation
1) Once you have your data presented as the results section, it is time to interpret your results
