Before delving into the negatives of cloud computing, I would like to start with all of the positives. The things that might drive a company towards adopting such technology. First, and foremost, cloud computing is like having a safe off-site. If a natural disaster, like a tornado or earthquake, hits and takes out one’s entire building, all of the information is still intact. People often have a misconception about cloud computing. Saying things are ‘in the cloud’ are not actually in the sky or space. They are actually part of server farms all over the world that offer physical protection from outside intruders. Yet, this does not make your information 100% protected.
Nothing on the internet is 100% protected. Given time, materials, and effort, anything can be compromised that is connected to the internet. Even sites that have their own intranet are at risk for an attack from the outside world or, even worse in some cases, at risk for an attack from within their own network. This is why vetting high-level personnel, port security, and least privileges of average personnel are dire in keeping sensitive and critical information safe and secure.

Here is why we have administrative teams. Assess the cloud deployment challenges, opportunities and success rates in the market. Understand the business value, IT feasibility and success factors for your organization to deploy your applications in cloud. Evaluate and document the success stories, risks and barriers involved in cloud adoption.
Having these teams in place helps delegate all the IT needs in a company. usually most businesses will have what looks like a tree of an it team. This whole team is responsible for the security of the whole company. Putting most of that information on a secure cloud, which could help with cost, most cloud storage is very cost effective.
It will definitely be up to each individual company on how they want to secure their information.
