For this assignment, you will produce an illustrated 6-7-minute presentation incorporating images, graphs and diagrams (in addition to text) – which analyses and evaluates your chosen brands’ current status (sales, price point, financial, geographical) and current use of -and portrayal in -media (paid, owned, earned and social) along with a full rationale of the proposed collaboration. You should look at print publications, broadcast and online/social media channels. The presentation should be recorded and uploaded to a video sharing website with the URL submitted to Blackboard, together with a transcript of your spoken presentation. The name of the brand and the URL link to your video should be included on a title page.
Your presentation should include examples of recent promotional activity and must include the following information:
Introduction to the brands
Who is the target customer for each brand?
How successful are the brands in targeting their customers?
How successful are the brands in portraying their product and brand values?
How well do the brands engage with its customers?
Your presentation should be professional in approach. The use of imagery to illustrate your investigations is essential – it is suggested that you also actively interact with the brands’ websites and social media platforms to record your visual research. It is recommended you include printed screen grabs or similar, or your own photography to supplement your analysis in order to clearly communicate your findings.
