This essay is essentially a summary of the lecture slides ( 5.1 to 7.4) and involves reading chapters 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 16 (skip chapters 11 and 14) from the book called Sara S. Drogin, Spare Me the Details: A Short History of Western Civilization. I don’t have a copy of this book. But you will need to read these chapters and talk about it in the paper. A sample essay has been linked below. From time to time, you will need to link what lecture/ chapter you are referring to.
This is a 4 page essay. It is split into two, 2 page essays. The first will be a summary of the lectures and the second will be a summary of the chapter readings.
