Team Project Written Advertising Plan: (25%)
For this project, teams will be assigned by the professor
early in the course. Your team will
prepare an advertising plan for a product or service chosen by your team. Your completed project should demonstrate
understanding of advertising strategies put to practical use and creative
thinking. This will be due on 05/12/22 During Class which is week #
15. Please review the information posted
on Blackboard under the Information Tab. You will create this Advertising Plan as
a research team on Advertising product or service topics. In the second week, each team will submit
three proposed product or service topics you are interested in. The instructor
will discuss and approve a product or service topic for each team. Once the
topic is finalized, you will start your research and analysis of past Advertising Plans pertaining to different products or
services to understand the
format, flow and design of an Advertising Plan. At that point, your will start your own plan within
your assigned team. The team leader will
decide what member of team will turn in various portions of the advertising plan
to complete it. Remember this is a team project.
Starting from the 5th week, a draft of each
section of the paper (see below for content expectations), along with a list of
references used up to that point, should be created for review within each
team. There will be two drafts submitted on Blackboard that will indicate where
you are with the completion of your advertising plan. You plans will also be
discussed in class as we go through our planned course studies.
In the final paper, develop tables and figures as
appropriate. The body of the paper should be 7 to 10 pages. Cite
references using APA style. The
following lists the required sections of the paper. Please include the headings
in your final paper.

Introduction. A paragraph that includes the paper statement
and a concise outline for the paper to tell the reader what the paper is
about.

Situations
Analysis: Specify the review of
problems and opportunities. You should be addressing a problem. What
information do you need to be successful in changing markets?

Strategy
Statement: What is your strategy
approach in resolving your problems? Explain how this is going to resolve your
problems in the market or with a competitor. Indicate what advertising theories
or concepts have been used to explain success in a competitors Advertising Plan.

Creative Plan: This should be your main advertising Message
that will reach your consumer.
What
do you want to say and how do you want to say it? Is it different than the rest
of the market? Creatively,
is it unique?
•
Promotion Plan: What
is the best way to present your Advertising Plan? How can you get the most benefits from the
cost concepts? What is your time frame? Is it weekly, monthly etc. What is
everyone one doing it the industry? Find the way to do it better.
•
Evaluation: How
are you evaluating your Advertising Plain?
Is it successful or not? Are you selling more product, the same or
less? You need to come up with an
evaluation plan that will tell you where you are and it should indicate a
better place than where you were if it is successful.
• Budget: How much do you need to spend? How do you
plan to spent your resources, what is the size of your market? These are all
questions you must understand when using your financial resources.

Conclusion. Evaluate and present a point of view on a past
Advertising Plan in some industry of your choice. Were they successful why or why not? What was
different creatively about your plan compared to their plan?
