Please submit a 2 page, double spaced essay about your favorite tax rule that you have learned about in the course so far. Your essay should:
Identify your favorite tax benefit/rule that you have learned about this semester.
Discuss the general rule for your favorite tax benefit/rule.
Discuss any exceptions to your favorite rule.
This assignment will be worth up to 50 bonus points. (Note the essays points will be set to 0 in Canvas so that this score does not count against you. Your bonus points will be added after submission and grading). Your essay will be graded on whether you have answered the above questions, whether your description of the rule is accurate, and the organization of your essay. You may find it helpful to have an introductory paragraph introducing your favorite benefit, another paragraph for discussing how the rule works, a paragraph discussing exceptions to the rule, and a conclusion paragraph.
