advocacy letter

For this journal, write a letter that advocates for a specific change that would benefit health (broadly defined). Your letter should:

• Advocate for a clear and direct action;
• Establish your expertise, drawing on course materials, other research, and/or personal experience;
• Support everything you offer with evidence;
• Be timely and succinct;
• Be addressed to a specific public official whose role is connected to the action you are advocating for. (For example, you could write to your state or federal Congressperson; the mayor or administrative head of your city; the head of the local board of health; etc.)
