She says that, if she were to become pregnant, she would not have an abortion because she believes abortion is morally wrong and because she is Catholic. The medical staff is urging you to contact Ms. Fernandezs parents due to concern about her health risks.
2. A physician in a community health clinic share with a 27 year old mother that recent research indicated that ways of preventing the transmission of HIV from an infected mother to her newborn is to inform their partners about their HIV status. However, he was unaware that some women in the community who did so were chased from their homes or beaten as a result.
