Leading the Way as Digital Educators

In this assignment, you will write a paper in which you analyze your professional characteristics and how they meet the needs of the 21st century learners you serve. You will explore how what you know and do can better prepare learners to be successful in educational and employment environments.

As a 1-page introduction to your paper, describe your educational environment, the learner group(s) you serve, the role(s) you fill when delivering lessons, and the roles and characteristics which distinguish you as a digital educator.

Step 2. Explain
In 1 page, introduce the 21st century skills you consider most important for your learners. Explain how you have acquired/are acquiring these skills and how this knowledge guides you in providing instruction and motivating learners to attain these skills.

Step 3. Analyze
Conclude your paper with a 1-page analysis, in which you discuss why there is a need for instructors to adopt a digital-age mindset about instructor roles and characteristics, and essential 21st century skillsets.
