Attitudes of family members towards gendered behavior which does not match assigned sex of their children/siblings.

In a Mexican household, if a boy cries, plays with dolls or likes the color pink they are viewed as being gay or being a girl same vise versa, if a girl likes boy stuff she’s considered a tomboy. I want to base my research paper based off this, particularly in a mexican household. Please see below the criteria:
Background (1 page):
Opening paragraph, factually detail the gendered behavior.
Select and examine one specific family event or occasion that was gendered. A gendered family event is defined as a situation in which men and women (or boys and girls) are perceived differently.  You can write about any of the gendered family events listed above or produce your own topic which is relevant to your family and to the concepts relevant to this course.
You may want to run your idea by me to see if your topic fits the purpose of the paper.
Research, development & analysis of concepts (3 pages):
Review research on your gendered family topic.
Develop and discuss the findings of at least three (3) research studies from reputable psychological journals that relate to your topic.  Then, illustrate whether your gendered family fits typical research.
Psychology journals from which to choose include American Journal of Psychology, American Psychological Review, Social Problems, Journal of Marriage and the Family, and Gender and Society.

Analysis section.
In developing the gendered behavior, analyze the gendered family life by incorporating at least three psychological concepts or theories developed in our Psychology of Woman course. Be sure to demonstrate a clear understanding of the concepts or theories. Read relevant sections of the textbook, Canvas course materials, and other accurate source materials.
Make sure this section is very well-developed, well-organized, and well-written since your paper grade depends on how well you executed the research and analysis components of this paper.
Conclusion (1 page):
Discuss the expression of gendered behavior in your family and the manner in which the gendered family event(s) has influenced you to become the person you are today. Examine the ways in which you think and behave due to this gendered family experience. Express whether you will carry forth this gendered expectation and/or your alternatives you plan to implement to gain different outcomes. Be specific in the behaviors, expectations, plans and the reasons for each.
