Write an essay related to one or two of the authors/topics we discussed in class
(list of topics below). Create or pick a question or topic regarding your choice of text(s). (Examples: fear of death, principles of how to live best (following the Stoics, or following the Epicureans, or comparing both and weighing their merits), dealing with emotional crises, the motive of “knowing yourself” in conjunction with “an unexamined life is not worth living” (Socrates) – or any other idea that intrigues you.
