write a 1,200-word essay. Your essay should be a critical response to:
|”The minimum wage is effective in supporting the poor and most vulnerable in a society. ” To

You are expected to support your arguments using academic sources. Three sources for each
question will be provided to help you in this writing task (see below). However, you are not required
to use these sources. You must use a minimum of five different academic sources to support your
arguments, so you need to find at least two sources of your own.
The sources you use in your essay should be referenced (in-text and in your reference list). While you may use sources written for specialists in your academic discipline, your essay should be
aimed at an educated audience with no such specialist knowledge.
