This week you will submit your proposed outline and your proposed reference list for your research paper.
This does not have to be a formal annotated bibliography at this point, however, the list of references should be in APA format.
This will be great practice for you as you prepare to write your paper.
Your reference list will likely grow and change but this is to help you think about your research.
Part 1: “Research Topic and Rationale”
For Part 1, you will submit your topic and your rationale. Before you choose your topic, keep this in mind; you might want to make the library your first stop! “Why,” you may ask? It is wise to make sure that there is plenty of research material available on the topic that you are choosing. it is important to be realistic about the research that you choose.
For Part 1, provide your research topic with at least a paragraph describing the purpose of your paper and research. What is the reason you have chosen to write on this topic? In other words, what do you hope to discover? What has piqued your interest in this topic? What questions are you searching to answer?
List at least three research questions.
Remember that in this paper, you are not expected to conduct actual research experiments, but to critically review other material that is available on the topic you choose. In this way, you are researching the literature to find answers to your questions.
Part 2: References List
For Part 2, you will submit your proposed reference list for your research paper.
Submit at least 10 APA-formatted references.
You should do some initial searching to find scholarly sources which may inform your paper.
This does not have to be an annotated bibliography at this point, however, the list of references should be in APA format.

This assignment is basically working on the Introduction and Methods sections of your final paper. While you don’t have to finish your intro and methods by the end of Week 1, it wouluvld be great if you did!
