This assignment will have you analyze and reflect on 1 or more theories or ideas covered in chapters 8, 9, and 10. You will write a well-organized and researched paper that should answer the following questions:
Why does this idea/theory appeal to you?
How you will try to apply this theory in your leadership practice and/or how this theory gives you new insights into your relationship with leaders in your life (e.g., extracurricular, organizational, or professional).
What are the shortcomings of the theory or how does the theory lack merit?
OR
Why do you think this theory is not valid or lacks merit?
Have you seen the theory misapplied or used incorrectly, ether by you or someone you have followed?
What are the strengths of the theory? How and why does this theory work?
If you are writing about more than 1 theory or idea in your paper you may do either option for each theory.
