Submitting Doctoral Capstone/Project Documents for Informal and Formal Review Once your term plan is approved, you will need to submit evidence of substantial academic progress and/or any other documents you would like to submit to your chair/mentor. Examples include, but are not limited to, the following: Drafts of capstone/project sections, chapters, or completed documents Individual Academic Plans (IAPs) Residency work Certificates/proof of completion from webinars, library appointments, writing courses, office hour appointments (IRB, methodology, etc.), or similar These submissions are likely to vary from student to student and from term to term, depending on the nature of your Term Plan goals. Discuss with your Chair the expectations for this term’s submission, as well as whether your documentation should be submitted through an academic integrity tool (SafeAssign). Capstone/Project Draft Submissions In the Grade Center, capstone/project draft submissions will be classified as “Revisions Not Needed” or “Revisions Needed.” Drafts noted as “Revisions Needed” will indicate which drafts include feedback that require revision and resubmission. Revisions Not Needed | 1 Draft submission is satisfactory, and no revisions are required at this time. Draft will be sent to second committee member, if appropriate, for review and revisions may be needed at that time. Revisions Needed | 0 Draft submission requires revisions and resubmission based on the feedback provided in the draft.
