My title is referring to Swedens change in migration policy – from 2015 – the start of the Syrian refugee crisis, and the rapid change and closing of borders that came after. If you have a better title feel free to use it. The essay is for “Human Rights and Migration” at a master’s level. I want it to be about “criminalisation of migration” and how it affects migrant’s human rights, with Sweden as case study, as it is very interesting due to its rapid change from one side of the spectrum to another (very liberal and open to right wing and closing of borders/ anti -migration ).
