LO3 – Critically review a chosen framework from current practices (Working together to safeguard children 2018). working with children, young people and families and produce recommendations for future policy and critically evaluate the potential impact on practice in order to improve the life opportunities for families.

Slide 3 – Extend information from First Recommendation which is – increasing scope of policies protecting that can extend outside of the United Kingdom to protect children, young people and families from honour based abuse such as being taken out of the UK to female genital mutation performed on them. 2 minute discussion on this.
Slide 4 – Extend information on second recommendation which is – to increase training and awareness on personnel and security in airports and harbours so personnel and security are able to recognise victims on arrival in to the UK. As well as working together with over consulates and high commissioners in other country who could act as a safe haven for victims. 2-3 minutes discussion.
