Hi, The assignment consisted on purify the aniline with a method that I learned during the semester. I was planning to use a steam distillation but my professor didn’t provided me Tin so I had to improvise at last min so he said to do an acid-base extraction. at the end I think I used the wrong solvent Ethyl acetate so the aniline was not purify. at the beginning the compound was a liquid with a orange/red color and after the extraction it remained with the same color. professor was supposed to do a NMR and IMR to have the spectra but the did not so instead he provided me with a website I’ll attach all the info.
