I’m an Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) student. Graduating in August, 2022. I’ve been a nurse for 9 years. LPN for 5 and RN for 4. As an LPN I worked in corrections at the county jail for 1.5 years. Developed a passion for mental health and underserved populations. Currently working in the ED where I encounter more of the same patients. Returned to school to provide for patients in ways I can’t at the bedside as a nurse.
