Your Research Proposal is a brief outline/description of your proposed project. It is intended to give your professor a general idea of your research goals and to give you a chance to brainstorm, plan, and begin rewriting.
Background:
This semester, our textual analysis of Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser and Nomadland by Jessica Bruder led us to examine the changes that occur in our society as a result of the rise of various corporations. Both texts demonstrate how the technological, economic, social, and political systems are at play and the various ways in which they affect regular people.
Guidelines:
include a summary or what you intend to research, being as specific as possible;
provide a proposed objective for your research. In other words, what is the claim you are making/thesis you are attempting to prove with your research;
