Write a proposal for your final “critique of a bartleby” You will use the Reader Response type of critique. Your proposal for your critique will be about the Mellvile work titled, Bartleby, the Scrivener.
Background on the work you are studying (plot, characters, genre, date written; author).

Contextualize your study. Contextualize your study in terms of the research that is already out there on your subject.
