Week 5: Assignment Content From this week’s overview, classroom materials, the understanding you gained from reviewing the finished dissertations, and the peer review from Discussion 2, develop a research question or questions to address your study’s purpose. You will be placing these in the Research Question section in the Research Outline Template that you began in Week 3. Provide a 300- to 500-word substantiated summary on how your research question(s) align with the study’s purpose and place the references in the reference section. You will place this summary in Appendix D of the Research Outline Template. Incorporating feedback is essential and beneficial in the learning process and is an expectation throughout the dissertation journey. Reading feedback, reflecting on the feedback, and then properly incorporating the feedback will help to progress through the dissertation journey and improve your writing, critical thinking, and APA formatting skills. Change Matrix A change matrix describes the changes you make to a document based on instructor feedback. Review the Week 4 feedback from your instructor on the purpose statement and using the Change Matrix in Appendix C of the Research Outline Template, record the instructor’s feedback in the first column, state in your own words the feedback provided in the second column, and explain what you have done to address the feedback in the third column. Note to the writer: Please leave the template intact, but please leave these feedback Appendix A sections blank on the template. But complete the rest of the paper within the template. I will enter the feedback from the instructor once I receive it. Checklist: Continue to use the same Research Outline Template you began in Week 3: Revise your problem and purpose statements based on your instructor’s feedback. Add your research question(s) to the R‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍esearch Question section of the Research Outline Template. Provide your summary of how your research question(s)align with your study’s purpose in Appendix D of the Research Outline Template. Format in-text citations and references according to APA guidelines. Reminder: Before submitting your assignment, proofread for grammar and sentence structure, re-read the assignment directions, and refer to the grading rubric to ensure each element of the assignment has been addressed.
