Using Chapters 5-7 of your Systems Thinking textbook, you will build a solution for the New Balance company. Your paper discussing this solution should be no less than 8 pages and no more than 12 not including the title and reference pages. Your paper should also be double-spaced and should follow APA guidelines. A set of key questions is included at the end of the paper to guide your discussion around critical issues for building an integrated CSR strategy for New Balance, considering its culture, structure, and present level of corporate citizenship management.
The paper should specifically address the following aspects of systems thinking using both the case study and your textbook book as references:
List the idealized design for operationalizing the most exciting vision of the future.
Listing of constraints which apply to the case, including technological, operational and learning and adaptation feasibility (p. 131).
Stakeholder’s Expectations: Who are the stakeholders? What are their expectations? What are the desired properties of the system from their perspective? What is their influence? Which critical variable do they control? (p. 131).
Business Environment: What is the bases for competition, how is the game evolving, and what are the drivers for change? (p. 132).
Purpose: What is the purpose or the mission of the business enterprise. Is the business product or market-based and what role does technology or innovation play in adding value?
Functions: Whose problem is the business trying to solve? What solutions are they offering? How do the access target customers? Does the target customer have significant purchasing power to pay for the solution?
Structure: What structure allows for the organizations to function in the delivery of its value? (p.139).
