This week we will be discussing Feminist Ethics & Evolutionary Ethics.
I have two great supplementary resources that you may read through to help your understanding:
https://journalofethics.ama-assn.org/article/illness-poverty-and-invisible-patient/2006-11
https://www.hindawi.com/journals/ijpc/2014/141627/
Assess the moral solutions arrived at through “care” (care-based ethics) and “rights” ethics to social issues of ethical import such as poverty, drug use, and/or lack of health care,
That is, note any ethical problems that arise related to those particular issues. Then, say how both care-based and rights theory of ethics would solve those problems.
Are those solutions correct? Why or why not?
What is your own approach there?
Requirements:
● Your jounal entries cannot include the same content as your discussion responses.
Jounal entries will be assessed using plagiarism software.
● JOURNAL entry must contain at least 500 words and DISCUSSION 300 words.
• Main Discussion posts should include one to three “discussion questions” designed to generate dialogue and to provoke critique, analysis, and reflection on the specific themes of the readings.
This bullet point is more of a suggestion, however, what I am really looking for is your ability to craft an engaging discussion post, and if you are able to include some questions that your fellow classmates can answer to help facilitate a healthy discussion, you should always aim to do so.
Going forward as well, you should always aim to include in-text citations in your posts, either citing from your text, or outside sources that will help strengthen your ideas. If you do include citations, please also include properly formatting APA references at the bottom of your post. A helpful guide to utilize while you implement APA citations and references can be found here: https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/research_and_citation/apa_style/apa_formatting_and_style_guide/reference_list_basic_rules.html

Reference List: Basic Rules. Note: This page reflects the latest version of the APA Publication Manual (i.e., APA 7), which released in October 2019. The equivalent resource for the older APA 6 style can be found here. This resource, revised according to the 7 th edition APA Publication Manual, provides fundamental guidelines for constructing the reference pages of research papers.
