This is a paper on the novel In the Country of Men and the article “Family Affairs: Complicity, Betrayal, and the Family in Hisham Mattar’s In the Country of Men…”
You need to combine the novel and Family Affairs_ Complicity Betrayal and the Family in writing an essay about “the country of the men” inside.
In the essay you are not to agree with a point of view, but to establish a relationship between the ideas presented, but you can’t just take an idea and agree with it, because that’s basically just copying someone else’s idea.
It has to be your own idea. But it has to be relevant to this essay
Each paper for this class is a minimum of 2 pages but may be more. A separate title page is required (and doesn’t count as one of the pages of the paper). The title must indicate the theme of your paper and what is your take on the book will be explored in the paper. Do not replicate any of this information on the subsequent pages of your paper. The body of the paper is an illustration of your thesis statement, with frequent references to the original text. When you cite from the text, you must provide the page number for your reference in this author/page format: “….quote…” (Kanafani, 10). Once you have provided convincing and persuasive evidence of your argument, you can conclude the paper with a conclusion. The purpose of the conclusion is to recap and restate what you have demonstrated, adding a layer of coherence to the entire piece of writing.
