1) Choose your organization that runs groups. I encourage you to look for a group you are most interested in and is local to you so that you will have this resource for future use.
2) Complete research on this type of group (in person, phone, online, etc.)
3) You are now running this group.
Create a treatment plan for how 1 / 3 you would run this group along with choosing the appropriate theoretical orientation for this type of group. You are the group leader so you have the freedom to choose how you will create the treatment plan. Just make sure that you are including research throughout to support all of it.
