The final paper will be an 10-page, double spaced, analytical or argumentative research paper reflecting the impact of healthcare on children and families as it relates to the practice of Patient and Family-Centered Care and Child Life. You may choose any topic within this focus that is of interest to you. This topic must also reflect one or more of the main course learning topic themes from class. Review weekly modules for ideas!
Final Paper Information:
The Details: The paper must adhere to the APA guidelines. The paper should be typed,
double-spaced on standard-sized paper (8.5” x 11”) with 1” margins on all sides along with 12 pt.
Times New Roman font. The minimal required pages for your final paper is 10 pages in total.
This includes 1 page for the Title Page, at least 8 pages for the main body of your paper, and at
least 1 page for your References. An abstract is not required, however if you choose to include it
please note this will NOT count for 1 of the 10 page length requirements.
At least 6 total references should include either articles from peer-reviewed journals,
course and/or course related textbooks, and/or reports from the Association of Child Life
Professionals. 1 of your articles needs to be a required reading article from class!
Start with a Title Page, then Main Body pages, and end with your Reference page.
Include a page header at the top of each page. For support on writing in APA format please refer

Center site provides good guidelines and examples.
