The Exegesis Paper must be 7-10 page (double spaced) exegetical research paper

The Exegesis Paper must be 7-10 page (double spaced) exegetical research paper on one of the passages below. We shall focus on the evolution, experimentation, and discovery inherent in the art of exegesis. Citations: the Chicago Manual of Style. The research can consist of any of the following e.g. gender/sexuality and Matt 5 via literary analysis; OR, the conception of “sin” or “sexual immorality” in Matt 5 via any of the lenses you cite – and many many more possible ideas.
The passage: Critically analyze Mathew 5:27-37. (RSV version only)
The paper must include and research and argument selecting one or two of the theoretical approaches are but are not limited to, analysis of the literary, source, form, and redaction criticism. (I am flexible on the one or two chosen).
Must use this version of the bible when referencing scriipture: The HarperCollins Study Bible with the Apocryphal/Deuterocanonical Books, Revised Edition, H. Attridge, ed. (HarperCollins Publishers, with the Society of Biblical Literature; New Revised Standard Version).
Bibliography must contain at least:
a. 2-3 academic commentaries
b. 2-3 peer-reviewed journal articles
c. 2-3 chapters in an edited volume
d. 2-3 monographs from a reputable academic publisher
