Task: Explore a given data story
Select one out of the four data stories. Investigate your own research questions using numerical and graphical summaries. The format should be the same as Project 1.
The report should be concise and professional.
You should demonstrate the skills you have learnt in lectures and labs, in particular, you are expected to perform a hypothesis test at some point in the analysis.
You should research the background to the data story, and ensure that your research questions are in context.
You should refer to additional research to bring your findings into context.
Submission: Submit a .html, produced from a .Rmd. A template is provided here.

Housing Arrangements – Homes Owned with a Mortgage in Local Government Areas. This dataset examines home ownership and rental statistics for all Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the year of 2011. Data is also provided about the median mortgage repayment for each LGA. Source: Australian Bureau of Statistics. Dataset: Housing
Beachwatch water quality program – Sydney Northern Beaches. This dataset examines the levels of Enterococci bacteria in water found in Sydney Northern Beaches during the year of 2018. Source: NSW Government Office of Environment and Heritage. Dataset: Beaches
Shark Control Program Catch Statistics. This dataset examines shark catch numbers in the Shark Control Program by species, date of capture, location and size in QLD for the year 2016. Source: Agriculture and Fisheries, Queensland Government. Dataset: Sharks
Cars and trucks passing through the Cross City Tunnel. This dataset provide logs of the number of cars and trucks passing through the Cross City Tunnel in 15 minute intervals for the whole month of March: one for 2019 and one for 2020. Source: NSW Toll Road Data (RSM). Dataset: traffic.csv
Hint: the R functions weekdays and as.Date will be useful here.
