Students will prepare an essay on a topic related to the study of Indigenous Peo

Students will prepare an essay on a topic related to the study of Indigenous Peoples in Canada; Times New Roman, 12-point font, double spaced, one-inch margins. This paper should make use of at least four (4) sources from the course readings, and two (2) academic sources from outside of the course materials (films and other materials will be counted as extra). Sources must be properly accredited using the citation style of your choice (MLA, APA, Chicago, etc.).
The goal of the paper is to show your command of the materials, and to explain what you think Indigenous Studies can and should be by applying your knowledge to a specific situation or issue. The best way to succeed is to ask great questions!
There is no required format for the paper (such as the 5-paragraph essay format), and you are free to use the first person (I, me). More instructions will be provided in class including potential research questions and research guidance.
